BALLIN' OUTTA CONTROL!
The HBO channel has done extraordinarily well with the hit comedy series Entourage. I was glued to my television screen from the first episode that had aired at 10:30 P.M that Sunday. The creator/producer, Doug Ellin, in partnership with Mark Wahlberg and the other big producers create a spectacular story that takes a look at the day-to-day life of Vincent Chase, his entourage, and the baller lifestyle in the spotlight. The intense rollercoaster of the celebrity lifestyle has proved to the crew that life changes but friends don’t. Vince Chase brought his 3 closest friends with him from Queens, NY: half-brother Drama, manager Eric (or “E”), and his friend Turtle. Vince’s super-agent Ari Gold brings an ecstatic vibe of energy that brings the show all together. Also featured on the new episodes of Entourage are series regulars such as the long-suffering Mrs. Gold; Ari's long-suffering assistant Lloyd, who's seeking a promotion; Andrew Klein, Ari's former mentor and new partner; and Sloan, Eric's on-again, off-again girlfriend. Returning guest stars include Jamie-Lynn Sigler; Ari's other partner Babs; Vince's publicist Shauna; and Bow Wow as Charlie, Eric's old client. Other famous celebrities such as, Bob Saget, 50 Cent, Hugh Hefner, Matt Damon, Tom Brady, and many other famous icons have appeared on the show.
The series draws on the experiences of industry insiders to illustrate both the heady excesses of today's celebrity lifestyle, as well as the difficulty of finding love and success in the fast track of show biz. Now that the boys are getting used to the perks of stardom, Eric, along with super-agent Ari, keep Vince's star rising while making sound decisions for a long-lasting career in a world of fleeting fame. After watching every episode of each season, this current season has been so good thus far; unfortunately, the season finale is coming up this Sunday. The most recent episode was a phenomenal. It’s got the most beautiful women, it’s got guys talking how guys actually talk, and Hollywood insights that I would never see on any other television show or movie for that matter. This show is by far my favorite series I have ever watched, there is really nothing else like it. I particularly like how everyone is so motivated and no one is overly lazy, and when they are, they get shit for it. In addition to their hard work, they are rewarded with a successful title, fame, and ridiculous amounts of money. What a life! Anyone who has HBO, or has seen Entourage, is crazing about how spectacular this life would be. Also, I do not think there could be anyone better that could pull this show off as well as they have expressed this lifestyle acted out by these talented group of actors. I am looking forward to find out how the season finale is going conclude this sequence of amazing episodes until next fall!!!
