HBO's Entourage Season Finale Episode Recap

The finale of Entourage was one hell of an episode to end the season. The anticipation had been building up for six days straight. The beginning of the episode starts off with the Vince, Turtle, Eric, and Drama talking with one another about the day ahead of them. Vince has been constantly struggling with his entourage to hangout with him because they all let their busy lives take over their plans with Vince. Eric has been constantly fighting with himself and his love life with Sloan. After compelling her to express his love for her, she in return, was steamed that he tried taking her away from the person she was seeing. Eric completely threw me off when proposed to Sloan, expressing his love for her, telling her that he would do anything for her as he slid the ring engagement ring on her finger. In addition, I was surprised that she accepted his proposal to make them officially engaged. Turtle has been fighting his personal emotions with his girlfriend that flew away to New Zealand for a movie shoot there. Therefore Turtle ended up getting on a plane for fourteen hours, squished in between two obese women on a plane. Drama had been contemplating with his acting career, specifically, his try-outs for Melrose Place with the CBS Network. In return, the network wanted to raise Jonny Drama up, as a lead character in a new series with a holding deal because they wanted to make sure that no one else would snatch him up. Drama’s hard work had paid off with a rewarding feeling because of his “holding deal” with CBS and that he would now be able to fly out with Vince to Italy. He got the best of both worlds! The funniest parts that showed up throughout the episode was when Vince was consistently hassled by Matt Damon and his cause to help raise money for unfortunate kids in America that do not have enough financial support to eat everyday. It was perfectly played out by Vince on how he was unsure of what type of money would be appropriate to help out a cause with these American stars. These celebrities that accompanied Matt Damon throughout the episode included, LeBron James from the Cleveland Cavaliers and Bano from the band U2. Once Vince arrived to the airport to fly out to Italy in his own personal private jet, he ran into these celebrities that had been hassling him because he only sent the charity ten thousand dollars. Vince got hassled because he asked LeBron James how much he threw down and LeBron said(like the biggest baller), “one mill”. Then Vince started tripping out and asked them how much he should pay and LeBron responds, “Like a buck-five”. Then Matt Damon jumps into the conversation and said, “Ya that’s what I was thinking, at first I was thinking two hundred thousand, but a one hundred and fifty thousand will be fine. Eric arrived announcing his engagement with Sloan and why he needed to write a hundred and fifty thousand dollar check. Vince responded, “It’s for the kids”. Vince and Drama boarded the plane before take off to Italy; in which, Turtle was going to meet them there flying from New Zealand to Italy. The conversation between Drama and Vince was an attention-grabbing moment as they both watched Eric kiss his fiancĂ© Sloan outside the airplane window.

Vince: Well that guys down for the count

Drama: Which one of us do you think will be next?

Vince: I have no idea Johnny

After commentary: the episode ended, a short clip of Matt Damon showed him freaking out at the end, leaving Vince multiple emotional voicemails because he hadn’t received the check from him. Most likely Eric didn’t write the check because he was getting it on with his soon to be wife. This episode was an all-around, good episode and it had a great ending, especially, when Ari’s compromises with his business and Lloyd’s new promotion as an Agent. The best part was when Ari came into his office with a paintball gun and shot everyone with his gun who was fired, it was hilarious!
